Full-Time Shop Stewards
The PSA offers professional services to the Union’s members. Full-Time Office Bearers (FTOBs) and Full-Time Shop Stewards (FTSS) are an integral part of the PSA’s service offering to members.
All FTOBs and FTSS subscribe to the PSA Code of Conduct to ensure that quality services to PSA members are maintained.
These positions are governed by agreements signed in various bargaining councils, which allow for the secondment of elected FTOBs and FTSS to the PSA for specified periods.
The PSA is proud of its FTOBs and FTSS who serve members with distinction in various matters, ranging from disciplinary hearings to arbitrations, as well as expanding and maintaining the membership of the PSA.
